News

Apologies for the lack of recent updates. The holidays came, followed by finals and visits from friends.

I really shouldn't even have the site up today, but I was a bit late for the SOPA protest, so I'm simply going to inform people and allow my content to be used as it SHOULD be, rather than how these tyrants in Congress want it to.

SOPA, or the Stop Online Piracy Act, is a very big deal right now, what with it and the deciding of its fate going through Congress right now, before the House of Representatives goes to decide on PIPA, the stupid followup to an already futile attempt at earning more money for the entertainment industry that pays the government off. I believe I already made a post about it, when the bill was much less imminent. Also, I do believe I overwrote it, but trust me, this happened. The time has come to put a stop to this bill once and for all. Go here to enlighten yourselves about this invasion of constitutional rights and tell Congress we mean business. If you need more information, Google has you covered. They have a small protest going on, as well as many other blacked-out sites, like Reddit and many famous webcomics, such as xkcd, SMBC, and Cyanide & Happiness. Read up on the links on their sites as well; everyone should know what we're dealing with here.

This bill does not exactly threaten myself, as my site is not incredibly well-known in any way, but the fact that my comics use Call of Duty and other video games as references makes me a potential target as any. So please, do what you can to help stop this.

As an interesting side note, I have a quite different device from which I'm writing this that you will all probably see more often.

Obligatory memetic reference

Alright, now that I got that meme out of the way, let me start out by apologizing for the complete lack of anything new on this site since mid-September. I do have a comprehensive list of what I was doing that kept me from any further updates, though. Here it is:
  • School
  • Skyrim
  • Modern Warfare 3
  • Skyrim
  • Reddit
  • Skyrim
That's all going to change though. Starting tonight! I'm going to start writing comics again, and building websites for the tech-impaired. Speaking of which, if anyone is tech-impaired and would like a website for their business, feel free to contact me or my associate, Drew Buglione. We'd love to help you out.

This site is not dead, I'm just lazy. But I'm here now! No worries!

Huh, I haven't posted news in a week.

Truth is, I don't think it'll be necessary to have a drawing contest, as I don't see it drawing in many contestants. See what I did there? Screw it. Anyway, I'm planning to write a new comic today and maybe once again later this week. I want to get my creative thoughts flowing again, and doodling and cartooning is how I do that. Only problem is that I'm heavily prone to distraction. Even after I typed that, I took a 2 minute break to look at Facebook and Raptr.

So, I'll tell you what. If anybody cares, I'll open the opportunity for a drawing contest. If I get anyone messaging me on Facebook or emailing me or something, then, what the hell, I guess there's no harm in having some fun doing artwork for the sake of having a good time and earning some artistic praise.

Look out for new comics, they can strike at any given moment.

Hello people.

Last time I mentioned the possibility of a drawing contest. I'm still contemplating it, as I need to figure out some dates and I was thinking about making an upload script so people could upload entries with some details and not have to email me. That or I'll register contests@thingsdomain.com to send me mail marked "Contests." In that case, I'll be writing up a list of criteria. I'll have updates about everything later.

So, school's fine. My workload is still not huge, so I should have a comic this week, should I get a ridiculous idea for a joke. If there are comedians out there, I'm always open to suggestions, so email me. Since a lot of you know me, go ahead and ask me on Facebook, as that's from where I know most of you, my fans.

That's not to say I don't know any of you in real life. Anyway, look out for new stuff, as there should be some. Seeya!

Howdy!

So, I had a nice conversation about time travel with Drew yesterday. I might be able to write a comic related to such a thing later. Right now the architectural program that I use for my architectural design class isn't working, so I'm writing news. I'll publish it when I get home. It's like time travel! But not. After all, if it was possible, everyone would use it to kill Hitler, of course. I'm pretty sure writing web-based news would be everyone's last priority.

Anyway, other than time travel and new comics, there's still Jacob's new song which you should listen to if you have not already. I think if time travel had a sound, it'd be like this. It's a trance plus dubstep song from someone who knows real dubstep. Seriously, Jacob's a total hipster, he would know. You don't. You know nothing.

I'm thinking about having a contest of some sort soon. I want to see if anybody else has the uncanny ability to draw square people with triangular teeth and horns. It's not easy, I can tell you that. Well, it must not be, since I've seen some people completely eff it up. Begin making your drawings now. In case you forget, THING looks like this. If you wanna draw artistic representations of him, throw those in too. I just want to showcase something that isn't mine... or Jacob's.

Once the contest ends, a winner will be chosen and have their artwork praised and displayed on the site. I'll have more info about it come tomorrow, so be ready! Seeya!
